You’ll often hear our customers talk about the “Meadowview Homes Specification”. They’re surprised by just how much they get included in the price of their home without having to pay thousands of pounds extra. So what exactly is the Meadowview Homes Specification and why do our buyers get so excited about our homes?!
Your Meadowview kitchen will be fully fitted with Neff appliances, including a fully intergraded double oven, dishwasher and fridge freezer. The state-of-the-art Neff 4-burner induction comes with a chimney extraction unit.
Buyers can also opt for a range of additional kitchen extras such as a 5-burner induction hob, pop up extraction unit and Domino hobs and extraction system. For homes that include island units, there is also the option to select a larger size.
Some homes feature a wine cooler as standard, however it’s possible to upgrade and have one if not already included. Other upgrades include: integrated coffee machines, full height fridge and freezers, plinth lighting on kitchen units and hot and cold filter taps.
Meadowview bathrooms include part tiled walls with fully tiled shower areas. To help provide more space, sanitary ware and basins are wall hung, featuring storage underneath. Basins and baths feature chrome mixer taps that match chrome heated towel rails. To keep a coherent look we install chrome hand towel rails and can fit toilet roll holders and robe hooks in the bathrooms.
Our showers are thermostatically controlled with low-level shower trays with semi-frameless shower enclosures.
Your floor will be fully tiled apart from your living room, stairs and bedrooms which will be fitted with a luxury carpet of your choice.
We believe that natural materials help to make our homes feel extra special so we build staircases that feature oak balustrades, newel posts and spindles. Dramatic oak staircases are complemented by designer oak veneer doors finished with polished chrome lever handles.
Your kitchen, hall and bathrooms will be lit by LED spotlights in polished chrome to match the light switches and sockets throughout the house. For entertainment, there are television points in every room of the house except he bathrooms, as well as preparation for TV and Sky aerials.
All interior decorating is part of our standard specification. We paint ceilings in white emulsion with architraves and skirting boards in white satin. We recommend you don’t decorate a home in the first year though as the house is still drying out.
Ensuring your home is energy efficient will reduce your bills and impact on the environment. Some homes will benefit from under floor heating on the ground floor with radiators elsewhere powered by an energy efficient wall mounted unvented boiler. Your loft space will be fully insulated with access to the loft via a hatch and pre-finished ladders can be provided.
We only fit high quality metal-framed windows. Your home may also have bi-fold patio doors to provide garden views whilst also filling your home with natural light.
All our homes come with burglar alarms fitted throughout the entire house as well as mains operated smoke alarms. Bi-fold doors feature a multi-point locking system.
